So, this Sunday we went down to the beach. While we were hangin out Linda said she wanted to shoot a roll of film. I always say you don’t wanna die without any scars! I gotta tell ya, I was super impressed. The girl’s got moves!. All pics of me were shot by Linda. Oh, and that multiple exposer of me was a happy mistake:) All images shot on Mamiya645

My family immigrated to the United States from Cuba while I was just a kid. I can remember going to the beach every other weekend and passing by this man’s (last photo) luggage store. This little Italian man has owned this luggage business for over 40 years. Even in the midst of what the media sells South Beach to be , home to ”The Kardashians “, “Miami Ink” Shops and countless designer stores , it’s pretty humbling to me to witness this little shop, as I remember it as a kid, withstand the test of time and the ever changing trends.
